Since its establishment TRACOE medical has always developed and produced all of its own tracheostomy tubes. Thus the standards of quality of the tubes are optimized constantly and new solutions for even better special applications are created. Furthermore it is possible to consider clients’ suggestions and wishes for product variants (custom-made products) and future development projects.

Prof. Waldeck is responsible for development and production within TRACOE medical GmbH. He is a qualified physician and a professor of physiology. For 25 years Prof. Waldeck worked in leading positions in research and development at Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation, including 17 years as a managing partner.

In the development division he is actively supported by Dr. Ralf Schnell, Manager of Development. Ralf Schnell holds a doctorate in polymer science and is a graduated engineer with many years of experience in the field of plastic processing. After working at Max-Planck Institute Mainz, Germany, in polymer research and at a research institute in Paris, France, he was manager in different departments at Akzo-Nobel Corporation for 8 years. During all this time he established a substantial network, which proofs to be very helpful now, that he develops medical products.

In the production division he is supported by Günter Fritsche as production manager who is a degreed engineer. Mr. Fritsche won his first laurels in the field of environmental engineering at Steinhardt Wassertechnik. He established a customer service that operated Europe-wide and managed this for over 8 years. Afterwards he worked at Aeropump GmbH and was responsible for the assembling of nasal spray pumps as well as eye drops in the pharma industry. Mr. Fritsche has influenced the automation at Aeropump significantly. He has a long time experience as project manager, in the field of personnel management and as head of production.
